Description
The Web diploma starts with the basics -
understanding computers and the Internet. After you've
mastered some important fundamental skills, you'll begin
working on a variety of projects, starting with more simple
design ideas and progressing into multimedia, animation.
You'll also learn how to post pages to a Web server once
they're complete. Led by a staff of qualified instructors,
our curriculum focuses on both classroom learning and
hands-on work, so you'll leave with the right mix of
knowledge and experience.
Course Outline
The course will successfully launch a
media-rich website. Other topics covered include file
management, developing a target audience, interface design
and design deconstruction.

Course 1: Hyper Text Markup Language
This course will teach you to create a web
page using basic HTML code or to edit the code of a page
created with an editor.

Course 2: Java Script + Cascade Style Sheet
With scripting languages, web pages can be
dynamic and interactive. One style sheet can be linked to
many Web pages.

Course 3: Adobe Photo Shop CS for web
The professional image-editing standard. With
its integrated Web tool application, Adobe Image Ready.
Photoshop delivers a comprehensive environment for
professional designers and graphics producers to create
sophisticated images for print, the Web, wireless devices,
and other media. Moreover, Photoshop provides a consistent
work environment.

Course 4: Macromedia Flash MX
A web animation technology that uses
vector-based graphics. The course will cover drawing in
Flash, the use of layers, frames, key frames and the time
line to manage components of the Animation file and the
application of motion and shaped tweeting to create
animations.
§
Course 5: Macromedia Dream weaver MX
This course teaches basic web page
design using the popular HTML Dream Weaver.
